Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start on the A-373 highway from Tashkent. Follow the road signs for Chimgan, which is approximately 80 kilometers from Tashkent. The drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. As you approach Chimgan, you will see signs directing you to the main tourist areas. Once you reach the village of Chimgan, follow the main road until you see the sign for G2GC+VQJ, which will lead you to the hiking areas.

Public Transportation

To reach Chimgan using public transportation, first take a shared taxi or minibus (marshrutka) from Tashkent to the town of Bostanlyk. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately 15,000 UZS. From Bostanlyk, take another shared taxi or local bus heading to Chimgan. This leg of the trip will cost around 10,000 UZS and take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Chimgan, navigate towards the G2GC+VQJ area, which is within walking distance from the main drop-off point.

Walking

Once in Chimgan, if you are looking to explore the hiking areas, you can start your walk from the center of Chimgan village. Head towards the G2GC+VQJ area by following the road signs. The walk is approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace and is a pleasant way to take in the mountain scenery.
