Walking
If you are starting from the center of Khiva, head towards the main entrance of the Itchan Kala (the old town). Enter through the West Gate (Ata-Darvaza). Once inside, take a left on the main street (Islam Khodja Street). Continue walking straight; you will pass several historical sites and shops. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the Kuhna Ark, which is located near the center of the old town. Look for the large fortress-like structure with intricate architectural details.

From the Khiva Bus Station, exit the station and head northeast towards the main road (Shahrisabz Street). After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, Kuhna Ark will be on your right, easily recognizable by its grand entrance.
