Getting There

    If you are starting from the Samarkand Railway Station, exit the station and head southeast on the main road (Bunyodkor Street). Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 20 minutes) until you reach the intersection with Registan Street. Turn left onto Registan Street, and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will see the stunning Registan Square ahead, marked by its grand entrance.

    From Shah-i-Zinda, a famous necropolis in Samarkand, exit the site and head southwest towards Shahrisabz Street. Cross over Shahrisabz Street, and continue straight onto Registan Street. Walk for about 1 kilometer (approximately 15 minutes), and you will arrive at Registan Square, easily recognizable by its magnificent madrasahs.

    If you are at the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, exit the mosque and head east along Bibi-Khanym Boulevard. After about 600 meters, take a right turn onto Registan Street. Walk straight for another 400 meters, and you will find yourself at Registan Square, surrounded by its iconic buildings.
