Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Registan Square, head east on Shahrisabz Street towards A. Navoi Street. Continue straight and take a left onto M-37 road. Follow M-37 for approximately 1 km until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit to stay on M-37, and after about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Shah-i-Zinda on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are at the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, exit the mosque and walk north towards the intersection with A. Navoi Street. Turn right onto A. Navoi Street and continue straight until you reach the M-37 road. Turn left onto M-37 and walk for about 1.5 km. Shah-i-Zinda will be on your right side.

    From the Samarkand Central Market (Siyob Bazaar), head south on Siyob Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with M-37. Turn right onto M-37 and proceed for approximately 1 km. Look for the entrance to Shah-i-Zinda on your left.

  • Public Transport

    From the Samarkand Railway Station, take bus number 6 or 12. Get off at the stop called 'Shah-i-Zinda' which is approximately 10 minutes away. After getting off the bus, cross the street, and you will see the entrance to Shah-i-Zinda directly in front of you.
