Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Registan Square, head north towards the main road, Bukhara Road. Continue walking straight for about 800 meters until you reach the major intersection. Turn left onto Samarkand Boulevard and walk for another 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking until you see the large open square where the statue is located, directly ahead.

    From Shah-i-Zinda, exit the complex and walk southeast towards the main road. Once you reach the intersection with Bukhara Road, turn right and walk approximately 1.2 kilometers, passing by local markets and restaurants. After reaching the major intersection at Samarkand Boulevard, turn left and continue straight for about 300 meters until you see Islam Karimov's Statue in the plaza.

    If you are at the Samarkand State Museum of Culture and History, exit the museum and walk east towards the intersection with Samarkand Boulevard.
