Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Registan Square, head east towards the intersection with Tashkent Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Nizami Street. Turn left onto Nizami Street and walk for about 600 meters. You will see signs pointing to Xotira Maydoni (Memorial Square) as you approach. Continue straight for another 300 meters until you reach Q2V8+5P, where Xotira Maydoni is located.

From the central bus station in Samarkand, take a local bus heading towards Nush. The bus number 5 or 6 will take you close to your destination. After riding for approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Xotira Maydoni'. From there, it is just a short 5-minute walk to the memorial site.

If you are near the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, exit the mosque and head north towards Nizami Street. Turn left onto Nizami Street and walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers. At the intersection with Tashkent Road, continue walking straight for about 400 meters. You should see signs for Xotira Maydoni on your left. Walk another 200 meters and you will arrive at the memorial.
