If you are traveling by car from Tashkent, start by heading northeast on A-373 road towards the Charvak Reservoir. Continue on A-373 for approximately 60 kilometers. You will pass through the town of Yangiyul, so keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Charvak. After passing Yangiyul, follow the signs for the Charvak Reservoir, and you will see the scenic views of the mountains ahead. As you approach the reservoir, take the turnoff onto a smaller road leading directly to the Charvak Reservoir area. There is parking available at the site.

To reach Charvak Reservoir by public transportation, first make your way to the Tashkent Central Bus Station (in the city center). Look for buses or minibuses (known as 'marshrutkas') that are headed towards Charvak or the nearby town of Yangiyul. The bus ride should take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Yangiyul, you can take a taxi or a local minibus that goes directly to the Charvak Reservoir. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are heading to the reservoir. The journey from Yangiyul to the reservoir will take about 20-30 minutes.
