Getting There

  • Metro

    To reach the Japanese Garden, start by heading to the nearest metro station, which could be either 'Alisher Navoi' or 'Mustaqillik Maydoni'. From 'Alisher Navoi', take Line 1 (the red line) in the direction of 'O'zbekiston'. Get off at 'O'zbekiston' station. Transfer to Line 2 (the green line) and head towards 'Yunusobod'. After 5 stops, get off at 'Yunusobod' station. Exit the station and walk towards the east for about 10-15 minutes, following the signs to the 'Uzexpocentre'. The Japanese Garden is located within the complex.

  • Bus

    From the center of Tashkent, find a bus stop and catch bus number 64 or 30. These buses head towards the Yunusabad District. After about 20-30 minutes, get off at the 'Uzexpocentre' stop. From there, walk 5 minutes to the east to find the entrance to the Japanese Garden.

  • Walking

    If you are near the city center, a nice option is to walk to the Japanese Garden. Start from the 'Amir Timur Square', head northeast along 'Mustaqillik Avenue' for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the intersection with 'A. Navoi Street'. Turn left onto 'A. Navoi Street' and continue walking straight for another 10 minutes. After crossing the 'Uzexpocentre', the entrance to the Japanese Garden will be on your right.
