Walking
If you are in the city center of Tashkent, start at the Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theatre located at 28, Islam Karimov Street. From here, head east along Islam Karimov Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the Amir Timur Square. At the square, you will see the impressive statue of Amir Timur. Continue walking east towards the intersection with Uzbekistan Street. Cross the road and continue straight on Uzbekistan Street. After a short walk of about 5 minutes, you will see Mustakillik Square on your right side.

Metro
If you are near a metro station, the easiest way is to take the Tashkent Metro. Board the Chilonzor Line (Red Line) at any station that is convenient for you. Travel towards the ‘Chilonzor’ station. Get off at the ‘Mustakillik Maidoni’ station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Mustakillik Square. You will find the square directly in front of you as you exit the station.
