Walking
If you are in the Yunusabad neighborhood, start by heading towards the nearest bus stop. Look for the bus numbers 1, 12, or 24 which will take you closer to Independence Square. Board the bus and pay the fare, which is approximately 1,000 UZS (Uzbekistani Som). Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Mustakillik Square' stop. Once you get off, you will see Independence Square directly in front of you.

Public Transport (Metro)
From Yunusabad, walk to the nearest metro station, which is 'Bunyodkor' station. It may take around 10-15 minutes on foot, depending on your starting point. Once at the station, purchase a metro ticket for about 1,200 UZS. Take the metro towards 'Chilonzor' and transfer at 'Alisher Navoi' station to the 'Uzbekistan' line. Continue on this line until you reach 'Mustakillik Square' station. After exiting the station, you will see Independence Square just a short walk away.
