After about 40 km, you will reach the turn-off to the east towards the Chimtarga area. Continue on this road for approximately 20 km until you reach the base camp area. There is limited parking available, and it is advisable to check local conditions before you set off, as some roads may be unpaved or require a 4x4 vehicle.

For those using public transportation, you can take a marshrutka (shared minibus) from Zarafshan to Aydar. The marshrutkas leave from the central bus station and the fare is around 10,000 UZS (Uzbek Som). Upon arrival in Aydar, you may need to arrange a taxi to take you to the Chimtarga base camp, which will cost approximately 50,000-70,000 UZS depending on negotiation. Ensure you agree on the fare before setting off.

Once you reach the base camp area, you will need to hike to Chimtarga. The hike is approximately 10 km and can take 4-6 hours depending on your fitness level.
