Start your journey from Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu. Drive north along the main road (Highway 1) for about 15 km until you reach the junction for the ferry terminal to Nguna Island. Turn left towards the ferry terminal, where you will find signs directing you to the Nguna ferry. Note that parking is available at the terminal for a small fee, usually around 500 Vanuatu Vatu (VUV).

From Port Vila, you can catch a bus or minivan heading to the Nguna ferry terminal. These services are typically available near the central market. The fare is generally around 200 VUV per person. Inform the driver that you are going to Nguna Island. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, purchase a ferry ticket to Nguna Island, which costs approximately 1,000 VUV for a round trip.
