From the center of Lakatoro, start at the Lakatoro Market. Head south on the main road (also known as the Luganville Road) for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and residential areas. Continue walking until you reach a fork in the road, keep left and follow the signs indicating 'Luganville'. As you approach Luganville, you will see the coastline on your right. Keep walking until you reach the area known as Million Dollar Point, which is located near the beach and has a small sign indicating the site. The walk should take around 20-30 minutes.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Lakatoro Market and head south on the Luganville Road. You will cover approximately 1.5 kilometers. As you pedal, enjoy the views of the local scenery. When you reach the fork in the road, take the left path. Keep following the road until you see the coastline on your right side. Continue until you reach Million Dollar Point. The bike ride will take about 10-15 minutes.
Boat
For a unique experience, you can arrange for a small boat ride from Lakatoro to Million Dollar Point. You can ask local fishermen or tour operators at the Lakatoro waterfront for a boat ride.
