Car
If you are renting a car in Sanma, head south on the main road (Route 1) from Santo towards Port Vila. Follow the signs to Port Vila, which is approximately a 2.5-hour drive. Once you reach Port Vila, continue towards the coast. Look for signs directing you to 'White Sands Efate'. As you drive along the coastal road, you will see signs for 'Tamanu on the Beach'. The resort is located directly on the beach at the address White Sands Efate, Port Vila. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Tamanu on the Beach via public transport, start at the main bus terminal in Sanma. Look for a bus heading to Port Vila (make sure to check the schedule as services may vary). The journey to Port Vila takes approximately 2.5 hours. Once in Port Vila, take a local taxi or a moto (motorcycle taxi) to White Sands Efate. Ensure you inform the driver that you want to go to 'Tamanu on the Beach'. The taxi fare should be around 1,500 to 2,000 Vanuatu vatu depending on your starting point in Port Vila.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Sanma to drive you to Tamanu on the Beach. This option is more expensive but provides flexibility. Expect to pay around 5,000 to 10,000 Vanuatu vatu for this service, depending on the distance and time of day.
