From any point inside the Apostolic Palace, head towards the main exit that leads to the courtyard. Once you exit the courtyard, you will find yourself facing the grand St. Peter's Basilica. Walk straight ahead towards the basilica's entrance. As you approach the basilica, look for the large square in front of it, known as Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). The Maderno Fountain is located in this square, directly in front of the basilica, near the center of the square. You will easily recognize it as it stands prominently and is surrounded by the majestic architecture of the square.
