Walking
From the Vatican Library, exit the building and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Turn left and walk along the walls of the Vatican City. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to St. Peter's Square. Once you enter the square, the Apostolic Palace will be on your left, clearly visible behind the grand colonnades.

From the Vatican Library, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Take bus number 81 or 492 towards 'Cavalleggeri/Gregorio VII'. Ride for about 5 minutes and get off at the stop 'Piazza San Pietro'. From there, walk towards St. Peter's Square, and the Apostolic Palace is located on the left side of the square.
