Public Transportation
If you are arriving by public transportation, take the Metro Line A and get off at Ottaviano - San Pietro station. After exiting the station, follow signs for 'San Pietro' and walk straight along Via Ottaviano, which will lead you to the entrance of Vatican City. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance to Saint Peter's Square, which is directly in front of St. Peter's Basilica.
Walking
If you are already in the Vatican area, simply walk towards Saint Peter's Basilica. You will see large crowds of tourists heading in the same direction. Once you reach the basilica, Saint Peter's Square will be right in front of you. The square is spacious and famous for its stunning architecture, so take your time to enjoy the surroundings.
Car
If you are driving, navigate to Piazza San Pietro, 00120 Città del Vaticano, Vatican City using your GPS. Be aware that parking near Vatican City is extremely limited. It is recommended to park at a nearby public parking lot, such as 'Parking Gianicolo' or 'Parcheggio Trastevere', and then walk or take a bus to the Vatican. From the parking lot, you can walk to Saint Peter's Square by heading towards the Vatican Walls and following the signs for 'San Pietro'.
