Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Gregorian Etruscan Museum, exit the building and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Turn right onto Viale Vaticano and continue walking straight. After about 800 meters, you will reach the entrance of the Metro station 'Ottaviano'. Take the Metro Line A towards Anagnina and get off at the 'Termini' station (6 stops). Exit the station and follow the signs for the 'Metro Line B' towards Rebibbia. Get off at the 'Tiburtina' station (3 stops). From there, take the bus number 464 towards 'Tivoli'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Largo Sant'Angelo' stop, which is close to Villa Gregoriana.

    From the Gregorian Etruscan Museum, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the Vatican Museums. Take Bus 81 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. After about 25 minutes, get off at the 'Piazza della Repubblica' stop. From there, transfer to Bus 5 towards 'Tivoli', which will take you directly to 'Largo Sant'Angelo', the entrance to Villa Gregoriana. The entire journey will take around 1 hour.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi from outside the Gregorian Etruscan Museum. Inform the driver that you want to go to Villa Gregoriana, located at Largo Sant'Angelo, 1, Tivoli. The taxi ride will take approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic, and will drop you off right at the entrance.
