Getting There

  • Foot

    Exit St. Peter's Basilica and head towards the main square, Piazza San Pietro. From there, look for the nearest bus stop located on the right side of the square, where you can catch a bus to 'Tivoli'. Make sure to check the bus schedule as services may vary. When you board the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Tivoli. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Tivoli bus station, follow the signs to Largo Marguerite Yourcenar. It's about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Head northeast on Via Roma, then turn left onto Via della Repubblica and continue until you reach Largo Marguerite Yourcenar.

  • Train and Foot

    From St. Peter's Basilica, walk to the nearest metro station, Ottaviano. Take Line A towards Anagnina and get off at Termini Station. At Termini, transfer to the train heading to Tivoli. You can purchase tickets at the station. The train ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Tivoli train station, exit the station and walk towards the main road, Via Roma. Continue on Via Roma until you reach Largo Marguerite Yourcenar, which should take about 20 minutes on foot.
