    From the Sistine Chapel, exit through the main entrance and head towards the St. Peter's Basilica. Once you are outside, turn right and follow the path leading to the Vatican Museums exit. Continue walking straight until you reach the main road, Viale Vaticano. Cross to the other side and follow the signs towards the Metro station 'Ottaviano'. After crossing, keep walking straight for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via Cola di Rienzo.

    From the Vatican Museums exit, walk to the 'Ottaviano' Metro station, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for Line A (the orange line) and board the train towards 'Battistini'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Termini' station. From Termini, follow the signs to the exit and head towards the main entrance of the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and Martyrs, which is located in Piazza della Repubblica.

  • Bus

    Exit the Sistine Chapel and walk towards Via della Conciliazione. Take bus number 40 from the nearby stop 'Piazza San Pietro'. This bus goes directly to the Termini station.
