Exit St. Peter's Basilica through the main entrance. As you step out, you will be facing St. Peter's Square. Walk straight ahead towards the large open area. Continue walking towards the right side of the square, passing the colonnades on your left. Keep going until you reach the edge of the square, and you will see a pathway that leads you towards the street. Once you reach the street, turn left and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see 'P.za Pia' ahead on your right. The Piazza Pia is a historical landmark, easily recognizable by its spacious layout.
