    Exit St. Peter's Basilica from the main entrance. Once outside, turn left and head towards the colonnade. Continue walking along the Via della Conciliazione, which will take you directly towards the Tiber River. You will see the river ahead. As you approach the river, keep walking until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo (Bridge of Angels). Cross the bridge, and you will find Castel Sant'Angelo directly in front of you, at Lungotevere Castello, 50.

    From St. Peter's Basilica, walk to the bus stop 'Piazza San Pietro' located on the Via della Conciliazione. Here, you can catch bus number 40 or 64. Ride the bus for a few stops, and then get off at the 'Piazza Cavour' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Castel Sant'Angelo. Head towards the river and walk along the Lungotevere, and you will see Castel Sant'Angelo at Lungotevere Castello, 50.
