Getting There

Walking
Exit St. Peter's Basilica through the main entrance. Once outside, head towards the street in front of the basilica. Turn left onto Via della Conciliazione and walk until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. After a few blocks, turn right onto Via dei Banchi Nuovi. Continue walking until you reach Piazza Navona, a beautiful square. From Piazza Navona, head southwest towards Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina, and then turn left onto Via del Corso. Walk until you reach the nearest metro station, which is Barberini. Take Line A towards Anagnina and get off at the station called Ottaviano. From Ottaviano, follow the signs to the Vatican Museums and continue walking until you reach the entrance of Ostia Antica.

Public Transport
Exit St. Peter's Basilica and walk to the nearest bus stop located at Piazza San Pietro. Wait for bus number 23 or 44, which will take you towards the Termini station. Get off at the last stop. Once at Termini, transfer to metro Line B towards Laurentina. Get off at the station called Piramide. From Piramide, switch to the Ostia Lido train, which will take you directly to the Ostia Antica stop. Walk for about 10 minutes from the train station to reach the entrance of Ostia Antica.
