Walking
Exit St. Peter's Basilica through the main entrance. Once outside, turn left and walk along the Via della Conciliazione, which leads directly towards the Tiber River. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the Ponte Sant'Angelo, a beautiful bridge with statues lining its sides. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself on the opposite bank of the river. Once across, turn right and follow the riverbank for another 15 minutes until you reach the Via del Pigneto. Turn left onto Via del Pigneto, and after a few blocks, you will arrive at Pigneto, a vibrant neighborhood known for its nightlife and culture.
Public Transport
From St. Peter's Basilica, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Board bus number 23 towards 'Farnesina.' After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Pigneto' stop. From there, it's only a short 5-minute walk to the heart of Pigneto. Just follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
