Walking
Exit St. Peter's Basilica through the main entrance. As you step outside, you will be facing St. Peter's Square. Turn left and walk along the edge of the square, passing by the colonnade. Continue walking until you reach the end of the square, then cross the street (Piazza San Pietro) to the other side. You will now be on Via della Conciliazione. Keep walking straight along Via della Conciliazione until you reach the Tiber River. At this point, you will see a bridge on your right. Cross the bridge (Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II) over the Tiber River. Once you are across the bridge, you will be on the other side of the river. Continue straight until you reach the first intersection. Turn left onto Via dei Banchi Nuovi. Walk straight until you reach Largo dei Fiorentini, where Rome4KidsTours is located.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From St. Peter's Basilica, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione. Look for buses that are heading towards Piazza Cavour or Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Board the bus and ride it for a few stops. Disembark at the stop named 'Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina'. From there, walk towards Via dei Banchi Nuovi and turn left. Continue walking until you reach Largo dei Fiorentini, where Rome4KidsTours is located.
Walking
If you prefer a scenic route, after exiting St. Peter's Basilica, walk straight through St. Peter's Square and exit through the right side of the square. Continue walking along the right side of the square until you reach the entrance to the Vatican Museums. Instead of entering, turn left at the Vatican Museums entrance and head towards the main road, Via di Porta Angelica. Once you reach the intersection, turn right. Continue straight along this road until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using Ponte Sant'Angelo, then follow the road to the left along the riverbank until you reach the next bridge, which is Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II. Cross back over the river and turn left onto Via dei Banchi Nuovi. Continue walking straight until you arrive at Largo dei Fiorentini.
