  • Walking

    From the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica, exit through the front doors and face the large square, Piazza San Pietro. Walk straight ahead, crossing over the square towards the colonnades that encircle it. Continue walking straight until you reach the central path leading out of the square. As you exit the square, turn left onto Via della Conciliazione. Walk along this street for about 10-15 minutes. You will soon reach the intersection with Via del Corso. Continue straight; the street may change names but keep heading towards the Quirinale area. Look for signs directing you towards P.za del Quirinale, and in about 20-25 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the beautiful Piazza del Quirinale, which is surrounded by the Quirinal Palace and offers a stunning view.

    From St. Peter's Basilica, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located along Via della Conciliazione. Catch bus number 62 or 81.
