From St. Peter's Square, exit the square heading towards the Vatican Museums. Walk along Viale Vaticano until you reach the intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Continue straight on Via di Porta Angelica and then take a left onto Via della Conciliazione. Keep walking straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Sant'Angelo. Once across, continue straight along Lungotevere in Augusta. After about 500 meters, turn right onto Via di San Lorenzo in Lucina, then take the first left onto Via della Scrofa. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Mattei, where you will find the Fontana delle Tartarughe.
