To get to Piazza Cavour from St. Peter's Square, start by facing the grand basilica. Exit St. Peter's Square through the colonnade, which will lead you to the main street, Via della Conciliazione. Walk straight along this road until you reach the Tiber River. Once you arrive at the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you see the bridge called Ponte Sant'Angelo (St. Angel's Bridge). Cross the bridge, taking in the views of the Castel Sant'Angelo. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via di Borgo Pio. Turn right onto Via di Borgo Pio and follow this street until it intersects with Via della Conciliazione again. At the intersection, turn left onto Via della Conciliazione and continue walking until you reach the roundabout. From there, take the first exit onto Via Cavour. Piazza Cavour will be on your left, and you will see it as you approach the square.
