From the central area of the Vatican Gardens, head towards the main pathway leading north. Walk straight along the pathway until you reach a junction with another pathway that intersects. Here, take a left and continue walking until you come to a large grassy area known as the 'Pinecone Courtyard'. Continue past the courtyard towards the northern exit of the gardens.
