Getting There

  • Walking

    To reach Borgo Angelico from any point in the Vatican Gardens, follow the main paths leading towards the exit. Head towards the entrance gate where you entered the Gardens. Once you reach the gate, exit the Gardens and turn left onto Viale Vaticano. Continue walking straight along Viale Vaticano for about 10 minutes. You will pass the Vatican Museums on your right. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Via Leone IV. At this point, turn right onto Via Leone IV and continue walking. After a short walk, you will arrive at Borgo Angelico, which will be on your left.

    If you are near the Pope's Audience Hall within the Vatican Gardens, exit the hall and turn left onto the path that leads back to the main thoroughfare of the Gardens. Walk towards the central square of the Gardens. Once you reach the square, head towards the main exit gate. After exiting the Gardens, turn right onto Viale Vaticano. Follow this road straight for about 8 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via Leone IV. Turn left onto Via Leone IV, and you will soon see Borgo Angelico on your left side.
