Getting There

• Walking

  From the Vatican Obelisk, head east towards the Vatican Museums. Walk along the right side of St. Peter's Square, exiting through the right side of the square. Continue straight on Via della Conciliazione until you reach the traffic lights at the end. Cross over and turn left onto Via della Chiesa Nuova. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes (approximately 800 meters) until you reach Fontana della Terrina, located on your right at Via della Chiesa Nuova, 00186 Roma RM, Italy.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  From the Vatican Obelisk, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Piazza San Pietro.' Take bus number 64 towards 'Termini' and alight at 'Piazza Venezia' (approximately 10 minutes ride). From Piazza Venezia, transfer to bus number 81 and get off at 'Chiesa Nuova.' After exiting, walk 2 minutes along Via della Chiesa Nuova to reach Fontana della Terrina. Note: A single bus ticket costs €1.50, which you can purchase at kiosks or on the bus.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from the Vatican Obelisk. Simply hail a taxi or use a ride-sharing app. Inform the driver to take you to 'Fontana della Terrina, Via della Chiesa Nuova, 00186 Roma RM.' The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic, and the fare will typically cost around €10-15.

• Car

  If you are driving, head east from the Vatican Obelisk onto Via della Conciliazione. Follow the signs for 'Centro' and merge onto Via del Teatro Pace. Continue straight until you reach Via della Chiesa Nuova. There are some limited parking options nearby. Please be aware that parking in central Rome can be expensive and challenging to find. Expect to pay approximately €2-3 per hour.
