  • Walking

    From the Vatican Pinacoteca, exit the building and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, turn left and walk towards the main road, Viale Vaticano. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via dei Fori Imperiali. Cross the road and keep walking straight until you arrive at Lapis Niger, which will be on your right. It should take approximately 20-25 minutes on foot.

    From the Vatican Pinacoteca, exit the building and head towards the nearest bus stop, located on Viale Vaticano. Take Bus 81 towards 'Stazione Termini' and ride for about 7 stops. Get off at 'Cavour' stop. From there, walk straight down Via Cavour until you reach the intersection with Via dei Fori Imperiali. Turn left onto Via dei Fori Imperiali, and Lapis Niger will be a short walk on your left. The total travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
