  • Walking

    From the entrance of the Vatican Pinacoteca, exit the building and head towards the main street, Viale Vaticano. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Leone IV. Cross the street and continue on Viale Vaticano. Follow this road until you reach the large intersection with Via di Porta Angelica. Keep walking straight until you see the entrance to the Vatican Museums on your left. After visiting, exit the Vatican Museums and head towards Via di Porta Angelica. Turn right and walk straight. You will eventually reach Piazza del Colosseo, where the Colosseum is located. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes.

    From the Vatican Pinacoteca, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Board bus number 81 or 87. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes. You will need to get off at the 'Colosseo' bus stop. Once you exit the bus, walk a short distance to your left, and you will see the Colosseum directly ahead. This route is a quick and efficient way to reach your destination.
