To reach Ostia from Vatican City using public transportation, first walk to the nearest metro station, Cipro (Line A). Take the metro towards Anagnina and get off at Termini station. From Termini, transfer to the metro Line B towards Laurentina. Get off at the Ostia Antica station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Ostia, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. You can also take a local bus from the Ostia Antica station to the beach area if you prefer.

If you are driving from Vatican City to Ostia, start by heading south on Via della Conciliazione. Follow the road to the right towards the A1 motorway direction. Continue on the A1 and take the exit for the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) towards Fiumicino. Follow the GRA and take the exit for Via del Mare towards Ostia. Continue on Via del Mare until you reach Ostia. Look for parking options in the area once you arrive.
