Once you arrive at the North Pownal stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile to reach the historic marker. Head east on Main Street, then turn left onto VT-346. If you prefer to bike, you can cycle from Bennington. Take the Bennington Rail Trail, which connects to VT-7A.
