Car
If you are driving, take Route 7 North from anywhere in the Green Mountains area. Continue on Route 7 until you reach the intersection with Main Street in Burlington. Turn onto Main Street and follow it until you reach the South End of the city. Then, make a left onto Island Line Trail. Burlington Earth Clock will be located at 35 Island Line Trail. Please note that parking may be available along the trail, but check for any local restrictions.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus service from various locations in the Green Mountains to downtown Burlington. Once you reach the downtown bus terminal, transfer to the Route 12 bus which heads toward the South End. Get off at the closest stop to Main Street and walk towards Island Line Trail. The Earth Clock is a short walk from there, located at 35 Island Line Trail. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service frequency may vary.
Biking
If you prefer biking, there are several scenic routes you can take from various points in the Green Mountains. Follow designated bike paths toward Burlington, aiming for the Lake Champlain area. Once in Burlington, bike along the waterfront until you reach Island Line Trail. The Earth Clock is right off the trail at 35 Island Line Trail. Remember to wear a helmet and follow local biking laws.
