Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by getting onto I-89 N from your current location in the Green Mountains. Continue on I-89 N for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 21 for US-2 toward Montpelier. Merge onto US-2 E and continue for about 15 miles until you reach Swanton. Once in Swanton, turn left onto Maquam Shore Rd. Cohen Park will be located at 4066 Maquam Shore Rd, Swanton, VT 05488, on your right.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus to Swanton. Check the schedule for the Green Mountain Transit Agency or Greyhound to ensure you have the latest information. Once you arrive in Swanton, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Cohen Park, as public transportation does not directly service Maquam Shore Rd. The taxi ride from the bus station to Cohen Park may cost around $15-$20.

• Bicycle

  For those who are adventurous and looking to cycle, you can rent a bike in Stowe or Burlington and ride to Cohen Park. Take the scenic routes through the Green Mountains. From Stowe, head towards I-89 N, then follow the bike paths leading to Swanton. Once you reach Swanton, make your way to Maquam Shore Rd. Please note that biking may take several hours depending on your starting point and fitness level.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby or in Swanton and wish to walk to Cohen Park, make your way to Maquam Shore Rd. Depending on your starting point, the walk can take between 30 minutes to an hour. Ensure you have proper walking shoes and stay hydrated, especially if the weather is warm.
