Car
If you are driving to Wiessner Woods, head towards Stowe, VT. From the center of Stowe, take Main Street (Route 100) north. After approximately 1.5 miles, turn right onto Wiessner Woods Road. Follow this road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the parking area for Wiessner Woods. There is no parking fee, but please ensure to park in designated areas.
Public Transportation
To reach Wiessner Woods using public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit (GMT) bus service. Check the GMT website for the latest schedules. You will want to board a bus heading towards Stowe. Once you arrive in Stowe, get off at the nearest stop to Main Street. From there, you can either walk about 1.5 miles north along Main Street (Route 100) and then turn right onto Wiessner Woods Road. Alternatively, you may consider using a rideshare service or taxi for the remaining distance to the entrance of Wiessner Woods.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from any local rental shop in Stowe. Start from the center of Stowe, riding north on Main Street (Route 100). After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Wiessner Woods Road. The scenic route will provide a great experience, and you can park your bike at the designated area upon arrival.
