If you're driving, start from the center of Mad River Valley. Head east on VT-100 N towards Waterbury. Continue on this road for approximately 9 miles. After crossing the bridge over the Winooski River, turn right onto US-2 E. Follow US-2 for about 5 miles until you reach the town of Worcester. Look for signs indicating the trailhead to Mt Hunger, which will be on your left. There is limited parking available at the trailhead, and be aware that parking may incur a small fee depending on the season.

If you're using public transportation, take a Green Mountain Transit bus from Mad River Valley to Waterbury. Check the bus schedule in advance as it may not run frequently. Once you arrive in Waterbury, you will need to catch a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Mt Hunger trailhead.
