If you are in downtown Middlebury, start at the Middlebury Town Green. Head east on Main Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Court Street. Turn left onto Court Street and follow it as it becomes Route 125. Continue walking on Route 125 for about 2.5 miles. You will pass by several small shops and the Middlebury College campus. After approximately 2.5 miles, look for Robert Frost Road on your right. Turn onto Robert Frost Road and walk for about half a mile until you reach Robert Frost Wayside at 537 Robert Frost Rd, Ripton, VT 05766.

From Middlebury, start at the Middlebury Recreation Center. Head out onto the trail that leads towards the east side of town. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Route 125.
