    Start at the Montpelier Transportation Center located at 60 State Street. Take the Green Mountain Transit bus route 2, which travels towards Waterbury. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of Route 2 and Route 100 in Waterbury. From there, follow the directions for walking.

    After getting off the bus at the intersection of Route 2 and Route 100, head south on Route 100. Walk for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the Camels Hump Road turnoff. Turn left onto Camels Hump Road and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. You will see the entrance to Camel's Hump State Park on your right.
