Public Bus
From downtown Montpelier, walk to the Green Mountain Transit bus stop located at 1 Main St. Take the Route 3 bus towards Middlebury. You will need to ride for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at the intersection of Route 125 and Robert Frost Road. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk down Robert Frost Road to reach the Robert Frost Wayside.
Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Montpelier. Head south on Main St towards Route 2. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Route 2 and follow it for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 125. Turn left on Route 125 and continue for 2 miles. You will see Robert Frost Road on your right. The Wayside is located at the end of Robert Frost Road.
Walking
For a scenic walk, start at the Vermont State House on State St. Head south on State St toward Main St. Continue onto Route 2, which you will follow for about 5 miles. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful views. When you reach the intersection of Route 125, turn left, and after 2 miles, turn right onto Robert Frost Road. Walk down the road until you reach the Robert Frost Wayside.
