    From Mount Ascutney State Park, head east on VT-44 E towards the town of Windsor. After about 5 miles, take the exit onto I-91 N towards St. Johnsbury. Continue on I-91 N for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 6 for US-4 W toward Rutland. Follow US-4 W for about 17 miles until you reach the town of Killington. Turn left onto Gifford Woods Access Road, and the park entrance will be on your right after about 0.5 miles.

    From Mount Ascutney State Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest bus station in Windsor, VT. Once at the Windsor bus station, take a Greyhound or a local bus that heads towards Rutland, VT. From Rutland, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Gifford Woods State Park located at 34 Gifford Woods Acc, Killington, VT 05751. Please check the local bus schedules for exact times and routes as they may vary.
