If you are driving from Mount Mansfield, start by heading southeast on Mountain Rd toward VT-108 S. Continue on VT-108 S for approximately 6 miles. Merge onto I-89 N via the ramp to Burlington. After about 9 miles, take exit 17 for US-2 toward Essex. Follow US-2 E for about 5 miles and turn left onto Westford-Milton Rd. Continue for about 2 miles, and Milton Town Forest will be on your right at 599 Westford-Milton Rd, Westford, VT 05494.
Public Transportation
From Mount Mansfield, take the Green Mountain Transit bus towards Burlington. Get off at the stop at the intersection of US-2 and Westford-Milton Rd (this may require checking the latest bus schedule for accurate times). From there, it is about a 30-minute walk (1.5 miles) to Milton Town Forest. Walk south on Westford-Milton Rd until you reach 599 Westford-Milton Rd, Westford, VT 05494.
Bicycle
For those biking from Mount Mansfield, take Mountain Rd south to VT-108 S, then follow the same route as cars until you reach I-89 N. However, bicycles are not allowed on the interstate, so use local roads to connect to US-2. Once on US-2, head east towards Westford. When you reach Westford-Milton Rd, turn left and continue biking until you reach Milton Town Forest.
