Car
From Newport, VT, take VT-5 South for approximately 22 miles. Merge onto I-89 South via the ramp to Burlington. After about 14 miles, take exit 18 for US-2 East toward Richmond. Continue on US-2 East for roughly 5 miles, then turn left onto VT-117. Follow VT-117 for about 8 miles until you reach the intersection with Mountain Road. Turn right onto Mountain Road, and you'll find Underhill State Park at 352 Mountain Rd, Underhill, VT 05489.
Public Transportation
To reach Underhill State Park via public transport, take the Green Mountain Transit bus from Newport to Burlington. Once in Burlington, transfer to the 2 or 2X bus heading towards Richmond. You will need to get off at the intersection of US-2 and VT-117. From there, you can either walk approximately 2.5 miles along VT-117 to Mountain Road or consider a local taxi service to reach the park. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
