    Car

    If you are driving, start from the main parking area of Stowe Mountain Resort. Head southwest on Mountain Road (VT-108 S) for approximately 4 miles. Continue straight onto Stowe Hollow Road, then take a slight left onto Long Trail Road. Follow Long Trail Road until you reach the Long Trail hiking area. There is no parking fee, but ensure you park in designated areas only.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Long Trail using public transportation, take the Green Mountain Transit bus from Stowe Mountain Resort to Stowe Village. Board the bus at the Stowe Mountain Resort stop. The ride to Stowe Village should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Stowe Village, transfer to the local shuttle service that operates to the hiking trails, including Long Trail. Ensure to check the shuttle schedule ahead of time as service may vary.

    Walking

    If you are already in the vicinity of Long Trail, walking is a great option. From the Stowe Mountain Resort, head down Mountain Road (VT-108 S) until you reach the intersection with Long Trail Road. Turn left onto Long Trail Road and follow it to the hiking area.
