Start by exiting Stowe Mountain Resort and head south on Mountain Road (VT-108 S) for approximately 2 miles. Then, take a left onto VT-100 S and continue for about 3 miles. After that, take a right onto Trapp Family Lodge Road and drive for 1.5 miles. The Bolton-Trapp Trailhead will be on your right, with ample parking available.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Green Mountain Transit bus service from Stowe Mountain Resort. Board the bus at the Stowe Mountain Resort stop and ride to the Stowe Village stop. From there, look for the 'Trapp Family Lodge' shuttle service, which can take you directly to the Trapp Family Lodge area. Upon arrival, it's a short walk to the Bolton-Trapp Trailhead, which is about 0.5 miles from the lodge entrance.

For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a bike in Stowe Village and travel towards the Bolton-Trapp Trailhead. Start by biking along Mountain Road (VT-108 S) for approximately 2 miles, then turn onto VT-100 S and follow for about 3 miles. After that, take a right onto Trapp Family Lodge Road.
