Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Stowe Village, which is centrally located. Head southeast on Main Street towards the intersection with Route 108. Continue onto Route 108 until you reach the intersection with Route 100. Turn left onto Route 100 South and follow it for about 3.5 miles. You will pass by various shops and scenic views. Keep an eye out for local landmarks to guide your way. After reaching Waterbury Center, look for the signs leading to Cold Hollow Cider Mill. The mill is located at 3600 Waterbury-Stowe Rd, which is just off Route 100. It should take you approximately 1.5 hours to walk there, depending on your pace.

  If you're starting from Stowe Village, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Begin your ride by heading southeast on Main Street towards Route 108. Continue straight onto Route 108 and then turn left onto Route 100 South. You'll cycle through beautiful landscapes and past local businesses. The ride to Cold Hollow Cider Mill is roughly 3.5 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to stay on the right side of the road and follow the bike lanes where available.

  From Stowe Village, locate the nearest bus stop for the Green Mountain Transit. Take the bus heading towards Waterbury. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Waterbury, disembark at the closest stop to Waterbury Center. From there, it is about a 15-20 minute walk to Cold Hollow Cider Mill located at 3600 Waterbury-Stowe Rd. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
