Walking
Start at the center of Stowe, near the Stowe Community Church on Main Street. Head east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Sunset Avenue. Turn left onto Sunset Avenue. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10-15 minutes), and you will see the entrance to Sunset Rock on your left. The hiking trail begins here, leading you up to the viewpoint.
Biking
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Stowe. Begin at the Stowe Recreation Path, which starts near the Stowe Village. Bike along the path until you reach the intersection with Sunset Avenue. Turn right onto Sunset Avenue and continue for about 0.5 miles. The entrance to Sunset Rock will be on your left-hand side.
Public Transport
Check the local bus schedule for the Stowe area. Board a bus heading towards the Stowe Mountain Resort. Request to be dropped off at the nearest stop to Sunset Avenue. Once you get off, walk along Sunset Avenue for about 0.5 miles towards the entrance of Sunset Rock, which will be on your left.
