Walking
Start your journey from the center of Stowe Village. Head north on Main Street towards the Stowe Community Church. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vermont Route 100. Cross the road and turn left onto Route 100. Continue walking north for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Mountain Road. Turn right onto Mountain Road and proceed for about 1 mile. Look for the entrance to the Stowe Mountain Resort on your left. As you approach the resort, you will see the Toll Road entrance. Follow the signs for the Toll Road, which will lead you to Haselton Trail Lookout. It's a steep hike, so be prepared for a challenging walk. The trail will lead you to the lookout point, where you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding area.
Public Transport
From the Stowe Village, you can catch the local bus service (the Mountain Road Shuttle) that operates in the area. Board the bus heading towards Stowe Mountain Resort. After about 10-15 minutes of travel, get off at the 'Toll Road' stop. From there, you will need to follow the Toll Road on foot, which is a steep hike leading up to Haselton Trail Lookout. Ensure you are prepared for the hike, as it can be challenging but rewarding with beautiful views at the top.
